A Personal Update and Practice News from Dr. Jennifer Aldrich
I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing today with a personal update and some important news from our practice.
Over the past few months, I've been navigating a health journey of my own. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer-but thanks to early detection through the Grail Cancer Test, my prognosis is very encouraging. I'm incredibly grateful for the advances in screening technology that made this possible, and even more grateful for the outpouring of support I've received from so many of you.
Your kind messages, patience, and trust during my treatment have meant the world to me. I'm happy to share that I have completed all my chemotherapy treatments, and my doctors are very pleased with the results of the treatments. I am scheduled for a double mastectomy on October 20th and will be out of the office for two to three weeks. We will have coverage by several MDVIP doctors for anyone who needs to be seen in person. Please call the office for any problems or questions, and we will help you from there.
It's a reminder of how precious health is-and how vital early detection can be through the resources available through my MDVIP practice.
I'm also thrilled to introduce the newest member of our care team: Nancy Castillo, our new Medical Assistant. Nancy brings a wealth of experience, a compassionate approach, and a calm professionalism that patients will immediately appreciate. She's already made a wonderful impact within the office, and I know you'll enjoy getting to know her as much as we have. Thank you for your patience during our recent staff transitions-we're confident that we now have the right person on board, and we're excited about what's ahead.

on changes to improve your experience-from streamlining communication to enhancing appointment scheduling and follow-up care. Your voice helps shape the future of our practice, and we're committed to growing with your needs in mind.
A quick note about our phone system: we're a lean team with just two staff members. If Heather doesn't answer your call right away, it means she's assisting another patient. Please feel free to leave a voicemail or send a text to our main phone number-Heather always responds promptly and will get back to you as soon as she's available. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue to provide personalized care with a small but mighty team.
